San Mateo County Community College District Selects iContracts for Contract Management Solutions

Community College Leader in California to Deploy Universal Contract Manager

Raritan, NJ – June 24, 2014 – iContracts, a leading provider of solutions for managing corporate contracts, commitments, and compliance today announced that San Mateo County Community College District (SMCCCD) has selected iContracts “Universal Contract Manager” (UCM) to effectively manage contracts, improve visibility, control access, and measure performance. SMCCCD will utilize iContracts UCM as a software service over the web, thus requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software, or related costs.

The Colleges of San Mateo County Community College District are comprised of three Colleges located between San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. Like most Districts, SMCCCD has been managing contracts with manual processes and spreadsheets. Among other shortcomings, this approach does not provide the centralized repository and underlying permissions based infrastructure necessary for personnel across the district’s three colleges to securely access the agreements, metadata, and other contract based information contained in hundreds of active agreements.

“San Mateo County Community College District was searching for a system that would allow us to efficiently organize and track our contract activity,” commented Susan Harrison, Director of General Services for SMCCCD. “Universal Contract Manager was the best choice to improve our contract management processes within the District. We look forward to implementing the software and realizing substantial benefits.”

iContracts Universal Contract Manager is cloud-based, requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software or related costs. All aspects of a contract’s lifecycle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones and compliance can be managed by iContracts UCM.

“iContracts is pleased to welcome the Colleges of San Mateo County Community College District to our rapidly expanding family of higher education clients,” commented Leigh Powell, Chief Executive Officer of iContracts. “We are proud of our new affiliation with a leader such as the San Mateo County Community College District, and look forward to playing a small part in their continued success.”
