Deaconess Selects iContracts for Cloud Based Contract Management Solutions

Indiana based Health System to deploy iContracts Universal Contract Manager

Raritan, NJ – September 24, 2014 – iContracts, a leading provider of solutions for managing corporate contracts, commitments, and compliance today announced that Deaconess Health System, a premier provider of health care services in southern Indiana, has selected iContracts “Universal Contract Manager” (UCM) to effectively manage contracts, improve visibility, control access, and measure performance. Deaconess will utilize iContracts UCM to streamline all aspects of contract management and compliance within their health system.

Deaconess consists of six hospitals, serving three states. Like most healthcare systems, Deaconess is managing thousands of contracts and associated documents, many of which relate to the satisfaction of various compliance standards. As the need to streamline the contract management process within and across multiple physical facilities became apparent, this drove the selection of iContracts UCM.

“Given our growth and increasing regulatory demands, it became apparent to us that centralized contract management had become essential,” according to Candace Foster, project manager.

Deaconess intends to manage all its contracts through iContracts but will start with managed physician agreements, health plan network agreements, administrative contracts, IT and service agreements and property leases. All aspects of a hospital’s contract management lifecycle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones, collaborating, creating reports and tracking compliance can be managed by iContracts UCM. The software is cloud-based, thus requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software or related costs.

“For over 120 years, Deaconess has been providing quality health care services to their surrounding community,” commented Leigh Powell, Chief Executive Officer of iContracts. “We are proud to work with a prestigious institution such as Deaconess and look forward to a successful implementation of our market leading, cloud based UCM platform.”
