Brunswick County Government Selects iContracts for Contract Management Solutions

County of Brunswick, North Carolina turns to cloud-based compliance solutions

Bridgewater, NJ – July 3, 2019 – iContracts, a leading provider of cloud-based contract, policy, and revenue management solutions today announced that Brunswick County, North Carolina, has selected iContracts’ Universal Contract Manager (UCM) to effectively manage contracts, improve visibility, control access, and measure performance. Brunswick County is the fastest growing county (by percentage growth) in North Carolina, and is the fourth fastest growing county in the nation among all counties with populations greater than 20,000. Brunswick County will utilize the contract management solution to maintain a wide variety of contracts and agreements.

Like many state and local government agencies, Brunswick County Government wanted to streamline and automate their contract management processes. Their process of managing contracts consisted of scanning and saving contracts in PDF format. Multiple hard copies of contracts were mailed and circulated for signature. This paper-based process lacked fundamental capabilities the county desperately needed such as a centralized repository, workflow management, integrated reporting, and the ability to track contract elements both within and across county departments.

“With the growing needs of Brunswick County, we were searching for a contract management solution that would standardize our processes and efficiently track contracts,” said Bob Shaver, Brunswick County Attorney. “Universal Contract Manager provided us the opportunity to centralize and streamline submission, review, editing, signature, and storage of our contracts. The ability to integrate an electronic signature component has eliminated the persistent need to circulate multiple hard copies of contracts and has enabled a faster and easier process.”

All aspects of the contract lifecycyle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones and compliance, can be managed by iContracts’ Universal Contract Manager. UCM is cloud-based, requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software or related costs.

“iContracts is pleased to welcome Brunswick County Government to our rapidly growing family of clients,” commented Leigh Powell, Chief Executive Officer of iContracts. “The need for a contract management solution in state and local agencies continues to grow as we engage with various government entities of all types and sizes across the country. Counties are operating more efficiently as a result of our truly unique, cloud-based contract management software and we are honored that Brunswick County recognizes the value Universal Contract Manager will add to their operations. We look forward to working closely with their team and forging a long lasting relationship.”
