HIMSS Helps put ACO’s on PolicyStat’s Radar

This week the Indiana Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) co-hosted the Medical Informatics Summit at the Fountains Conference Center in Carmel, Indiana.

The summit was designed to address a broad spectrum of Health IT topics such as ACO payment reforms, clinical innovation, consumer engagement and medical homes.

The day started off bright and early with a warm greeting from IHA’s Bernie Ulrich and Indiana HIMSS’s Dr. Alan Snell and followed with great panels and presentations.

PolicyStat was privileged to send two team members, Cameron Davis and Josh Doane, to attend the event and represent PolicyStat.

“The conference is a fantastic time to look at how healthcare is changing and integrating technology in remarkable ways,” said Josh. “For PolicyStat, this is an exciting opportunity to reinforce how we are helping this effort as well as exploring ways to work with others towards the ultimate goal: improving patient care at an affordable price.”

“Our solution differed from many of the products here that deal with patient records,” said Cameron. “The conference was a great opportunity to share how we improve patient care with better information management, distribution and monitoring. The goal is to provide the best possible patient experience by working together.”
