Sacred Heart University Selects iContracts for Contract Management Software

Catholic University to deploy iContracts Universal Contract Manager

Raritan, NJ – March 19, 2014 – iContracts, a leading provider of solutions for managing corporate contracts, commitments and compliance today announced that Sacred Heart University (SHU), the second-largest Catholic University in New England, has selected iContracts’ Universal Contract Manager (UCM) to effectively manage contracts, improve visibility, control access and measure performance. SHU will utilize iContracts UCM to maintain a wide variety of contracts and agreements throughout the University.

Like many universities, Sacred Heart University has been managing contracts through a combination of spreadsheets and manual processes. The in-house system does not provide a centralized repository, workflow management, reporting or the capabilities to track departmental work for the University’s more than 2,000 active agreements.

“Sacred Heart’s commitment to strategic growth is at the forefront of the University’s priorities,” said Michael Larabina, general counsel for SHU. We look forward to implementing the software and realizing the organizational benefits it will provide.”

SHU was searching for a contract management system that required minimal assistance from the university’s IT department. iContracts Universal Contract Manager is cloud-based, requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software or related costs. All aspects of a contract’s lifecycle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones and compliance can be managed by iContracts UCM.

Leigh Powell, chief executive officer of iContracts commented, “iContracts is pleased to welcome another leading university to our rapidly growing family of clients. Sacred Heart University is widely recognized for its commitment to not just education, but preparing students to live in and make their contributions to the human community. We are proud of our new affiliation with a leader such as SHU and look forward to playing a small part in their continued success.”
