Munson Healthcare Selects iContracts for Contract and Compliance Management Software

Northern Michigan Healthcare System to deploy iContracts Universal Contract Manager

Raritan, NJ – February 10, 2015 – iContracts, a leading provider of solutions for managing corporate contracts, commitments, and compliance today announced that Munson Healthcare, a northern Michigan healthcare system, has selected iContracts “Universal Contract Manager” (UCM) to effectively manage contracts, improve visibility, control access, and measure performance. Munson will utilize iContracts UCM to streamline all aspects of contract management and compliance within the hospital.

Munson Healthcare is comprised of eight hospitals providing top quality care to northern Michigan residents and visitors. Munson, like most healthcare systems, has been managing thousands of contracts and associated documents manually using spreadsheets and shared drives. With staff routinely accessing contracts on a daily basis, the need to streamline the contract management process within and across multiple facilities became apparent.

“As we strive to improve our organizational performance and effectiveness, the need for a centralized electronic contract management system has become apparent,” said Rachel Roe, Assistant General Counsel for Munson Healthcare. “iContracts Universal Contract Manager was the right solution for our health care system to improve our contract management processes. We look forward to rapidly implementing this solution and improving our efficiency across our owned facilities.”

iContract’s Universal Contract Manager is cloud-based, thus requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software or related costs. All aspects of a hospital’s contract management lifecycle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones, and compliance can be managed by iContracts UCM.

“Munson Healthcare, like so many community focused health care systems, provides the quality and personalized care that forms the backbone of the healthcare industry,” commented Leigh Powell, Chief Executive Officer of iContracts. “Managing and tracking large quantities of contracts and associated information across multiple properties can be a challenge for any organization, but is a strength of our market leading, cloud based UCM platform. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the Munson Healthcare team.”
