Charles R. Drew University Selects iContracts for Contract Management Software

Los Angeles based medical and health sciences institution to deploy iContracts Universal Contract Manager

Raritan, NJ – December 9, 2014 – iContracts, a leading provider of solutions for managing corporate contracts, commitments and compliance today announced that Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science (CDU), located in the Watts-Willowbrook area of South Los Angeles, has selected iContracts’ Universal Contract Manager (UCM) to effectively manage contracts, improve visibility, control access and measure performance. Charles R. Drew University will utilize iContracts UCM to maintain a variety of contracts and agreements throughout the University.

Charles R. Drew University has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years. Like many universities, CDU has been managing contracts through a combination of manual processes and an in-house system with limited functionality. This approach does not provide the centralized repository, reporting, workflow, contract authoring, audit documentation or notification functions that the University desperately needed.

“CDU was searching for a system that would centralize key contracts and provide workflow capabilities,” commented John Geraghty, Acting Chief Financial Officer for Charles R. Drew University. “Universal Contract Manager was the best choice to improve specific contract management processes, including our time management and operating efficiencies. We look forward to a successful implementation and quickly realizing substantial benefits.”

iContracts Universal Contract Manager is cloud-based, requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software or related costs. All aspects of a contract’s lifecycle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones and compliance can be managed by iContracts UCM.

“iContracts is pleased to welcome a diverse medical and health sciences institution such as Charles R. Drew University, to our rapidly growing family of higher education clients, commented Leigh Powell, Chief Executive Officer of iContracts. “The need for contract management solutions in the higher education market continues to grow as we engage with institutions of all types and sizes across the country. Charles R. Drew is widely recognized for its commitment to excellent health and wellness for all persons, peoples and communities. We are proud of our new affiliation with a leader such as CDU and look forward to playing a small part in their continued success.”
