Bluegrass.org Goes Live with Universal Contract Manager

Kentucky-based Behavioral Health Provider deploys iContracts Cloud-Based Contract Management Solution

Bridgewater, NJ – August 5, 2015 – iContracts, a leading provider of contract, compliance and revenue management solutions today announced that Bluegrass.org, one of the largest Community Mental Health Centers in the nation, has gone live with iContracts “Universal Contract Manager” (UCM), to better manage contracts, expand visibility, improve collaboration, reduce costs and optimize performance. The behavioral health provider is using iContracts UCM to streamline all aspects of contract and compliance management within their organization.

Bluegrass.org serves 17 counties throughout Lexington and central Kentucky, also known as the Bluegrass Region. Historically, Bluegrass.org managed contracts through a combination of spreadsheets and manual processes, using a paper-based system in which all contracts and associated documents were stored in an on-site location. With staff routinely accessing contracts on a daily basis, there was a growing need to make key contract data, as well as the contracts themselves, more accessible without the need to comb through physical documents.

“Bluegrass.org was searching for a contract management system that would allow us to more efficiently organize and track activities for contracts and agreements throughout our organization,” said Bluegrass CEO Paul R. Beatrice. “After considering alternatives, we chose Universal Contract Manager to improve our contract management processes. We recently completed our implementation and look forward to expanding the use of this powerful business tool to other areas within our organization.”

iContracts UCM is a software service over the web, thus requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software, or related costs. All aspects of a healthcare provider’s contract management lifecycle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones and compliance can be managed by UCM with minimal assistance from the IT department.

“The need for contract management solutions in the behavioral health market continues to grow as we engage with institutions of all types and sizes across the country,” commented Leigh Powell, Chief Executive Officer of iContracts. “Multi-site organizations such as Bluegrass.org face additional challenges and opportunities for streamlining processes and providing secure, role and user-specific access to contract information and documents, areas in which iContracts Universal Contract Manager excels. We welcome Bluegrass.org to the iContracts family and look forward to playing a small role in their continued success.”
